push pull cable removal

HI Guys,
Hopefully not a stupid question but I cannot see how to remove the push pull cable from my cars gear selection? I cannot see how the inner core comes out? the brackets do not have slots in and each end of the cable is an eye so the nut will not go over it?

HELP

Has it got a small rose joint on each end ?
If so, just unscrew them and then you'll be able to get the nuts off.

Might be a bespoke 'made' cable, ie crimped in place once all sleaves and nuts were slid on.
