i have a 24 volt power tool,i recently broke the charger, there are 2 parts to the charger, one that plugs into the wall, the other is the base with 2 LED,s and some sort of electricery going on inside.
can i just replace the goes into the wall part if i can get one of the same voltage/amperage and use my existing base,i cant get an original charger

The wall socket part is likely just an AC adapter giving out a certain voltage and current. If you can find the same spec it should work fine.
