soda blasting media - where to buy?
looking to clean up a set of 4 motorcycle carbs by soda blasting - not sure how much media I would need but guessing 10 kg would do (2+ kg per carb
should be enough?)
so where can I get 10 kg from? it would be great if MMart sold it but I don't think they do - ebay has it but in larger quantities and post is
quite ££
(I am near Watford if anyone know of a local supplier)

linky? can only find 25 kg tubs
hmmmm .... found some on ebay 10 kg for £ 16 - need to search for baking soda (not blasting) and it does state:
Uses:
Bath Bombs – we recommend using 2 parts Sodium Bicarbonate to 1 Part Citric Acid. We also sell Bath Bomb kits with the correct proportions of these
ingredients in our eBay shop for your ease of use
Antacid - For over 12 years add 1 teaspoon to water and take every 4-6 hours
Great natural cleaner - just use with a little water and for a fresh smell a few drops of lemon essential oil
Suitable for use in marine aquariaums
Abrasive - for conventional shot blasting equipment

Postage isn't even too bad - a lot cheaper than the ebay price.

I use Miller Soda Blasting. Their stuff comes in 20kg bags, and has a water resistant coating on it so
it doesn't clog. I drove over to see them and had a good chat as well. They restore cars there so they know what they're talking about.
