Assembly guide Triumph based Locust
Hi there,
I've bought a Locust Super 7 some while ago, and I'm now going to restore the car. It needs a new engine, a paint job, and the wiring
needs to be redone. Can't wait to drive it
I have a question; are there any assembly/building guides available for this car? It's a Triumph Spitfire based Locust (registered here as a `JC
Sportscar`) .
I have a Haynes manual of the Triumph Spitfire already, but there must have been some kind of assembly guide, is it?
Thanks for any replies!
Below a picture of my car, so you know what kind of locust I'm talking about.

Locust
Hello,
The Locust type 7 was originally built by John Cowperthwaite, through his company, JC Sportscars. This model was taken over by White Rose
Vehicles Ltd., and later still by BWE Sportscars Ltd. None of these companies remain in business.
The Locust enthusiasts are catered for by this website :- http://www.locust.org.uk/. Suggest you try asking them for help.
Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Many thanks for your reply! Didn't know all of that. I'm going to try it over there.
Thanks again!

I've got the 'build manual' for the Ford based ones - not worth having tbh
