Borescope Endoscope recommendation please

Hi All.

As the title really.

I'd like a peak into my bell housing and wondered if those eBay scopes are any good.
Don't want to spend too much as it's one of those tools that I'd only use very occasionally, but on the other hand
there's no point in spending a small amount on something that doesn't work.

I'm most definitely a non techie so I'm bewildered by the array of stuff available, hence the request for help.

Thanks in anticipation,
Paul G

Thanks for the replies so far.
I must confess I'm still confused.

Assuming I bought one that connected to a phone, as they appear cheaper than a stand alone device,
but they all seem to come with a driver disc. A possible problem there as I have the following:-

An iPhone 4

A Sony Xperia M2 (wife's)

A Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo laptop (running Vista Home Basic) The worlds slowest lappy, but has a disc draw.

My main computer is a Mini Mac, but this doesn't take a disc and isn't moveable to the garage.

Suppose I bought this; eBay Item

Do we think this would work with any of the stuff I have? Possibly have to buy leads or adaptors?

or do we recommend something else?

Cheers

I have a cheap £15 ebay job, didn't need to use the disc on the PC/laptop, Windows 7/10 has the software already loaded. Works perfectley

Paul,

I have one of those, and you're welcome to try it out on your computer. Send me a PM if you're interested.
