Engine hoist

Just in case you need an engine hoist, I've just taken delivery of a hoist from sgs engineering from derby.
Cheaper than machine mart at £180
Brilliant build quality much better than the chinese offerings on ebay and amazon.
Free delivery and came within 2 days
Can't recommend them enough.
Buy British 😃

Yep, I've got one of those, as you say it works out cheaper than anything else local. Fantastic kit and built to survive the apocalypse. So heavy though.

I've also got one of their trolley jacks and a pair of axle stands. If I jack my tintop in the right place it can lift three out of four wheels off the floor. I probably wouldn't want to get under it like that, but it's nice to have a piece of kit that can actually do what it says on the proverbial.

Yes I got the same. As said very solid/heavy for a good price, I collected mine from them!

Good info thanks mate. I’ve been looking at what’s out there as the engine is coming out over the winter.
