Flush Cutting Cable Ties
Can anyone please recommend a pair of those flush-cutter gizmos that allow you to properly cut cable ties - without the risk of cutting yourself to
ribbons in the future? Preferably something I can buy online.
THANKS!

Can you not just cut them flush with a pair of sidecutters?

or use pincers; the sort for pulling nails out of wood.
I guess you could use a mni blow torch to melt the end down; probably not too clever near petrol lines

You can do it with side cutters by putting one side of the cutters on the tie body but it take a little practice.

Alternatively, there's a company who advertises in the kit car mags, selling tie-wraps that keeps the 'tail' flush with the rest of
the band. Can't remember the name, 'cos it's ages since I last bought a mag...

I think he means that sidecutters or pincers etc don't cut em off flush, which is true, they don't, they leave a nasty sharp bit.
what he wants is a pair of these:

If you use a proper tie-wrap tensioner then the ends get broken off inside the head - but don't bother with the Maplins cheap-and-nasty one -
it's rubbish.

As above either a cable tie gun for conventional zip ties or "flatty" cable ties.
Both can be bought from Car Builder solutions

If you have the room to use it a junior hacksaw leaves a neat cut
