More quality products from Wurth

ive just got back from my mates garage. He uses Wurth products and swears by them. Ive just got the following off him:

1. Super glue kit - 2 part product 9glue and activator spray. Ill be using it for my prop magnets. Glue on the prop adaptor, some spray on the magnet, put them together and instant bond. Will use some JB weld for extra security.
2. Powerful multi purpose cleaner - to clean the prop and magnet before gluying.
3. Transmission additive - add to gearbox oil. Quietens down noisy old boxes, prolongs life of worn gearbox parts. helps it get in gear when its a bit notchy (mine is a bit notchy when cold).

Wurth make some fantastic products. Unbelievable range.

unbelievebable prices to!

Wurth is nothing more then a smart trading formula.

They don't produce them selfes one nut or one compound!!

they have just a good trade formula and commcerialising network.

They will never sell crap, the question is just do you need it to be that good/expensive what you want?

Its just a question of where do they take ir from because i'm sure you can buy the same stuff cheaper...

Tks

Thats a very good point ref merchandising. In some cases the products are better than i need but im a firm believer in doing a job once and doing it correctly.

I recallwhen i worked for DeWalt i was on the project team that developed a range of cordless drills for them. They were basiacally top spec DeWalts in Wurth colours. they had a tight grip on the development and made sure they were right before launch. If they do that with other products then i have high confidence.

In terms of prices i find them no problem over other proprietary brands.
Superglue kit - £14
Cleaner - £4 for big tin
Gearbox additive £7.
Not bad really.
I also use the bond and seal - the best i have found.

Well

i“m sure live over there is anywhere more expensive as over here!

but here they ask silly money for example for a normal size tube with heat resistant silicon (280degrees) 20euro the bottle..

and maybe even because we have a huge discount on them.

Silly money is more because you can buy a dewalt drill wich will work fine and also usefull for any of us an proberly the 80% of the market but wurth just sells only top stuff thats the reason they can ask silly money one thing the buyer forgets is thats its still dewalt product and many times cheaper directly from dewalt.

cheers,

Tks

SIESTA!

thats a huge statement pall.

maybe alez can pop up and tell us what he think but

i have 2 hours pause between 13:30 and its 15:30 i start again.

in the small town where i live and work the average is 60 Hours a week.

eleven a day (11) and 5 on saturday....

only in the big cities they have the european work schedule!

i start at 7 in the morning and go the car at 19:30 i only make 10hours daily and said to the boss that life isn't about working (so no sat for me).

but the rest of the team does!

Tks.

things will change anyway soon i guess you cant have a life over here!

Some days we do intensive schedule wich in fact is the 8hours!

we start a 7 and stop at 15:00 with half a hour rest..

i like those days more then the normal ones...
