Grease gun
I have an old Draper grease gun - not that great, but it has worked in the past. Now I'm trying to use it to grease my nipples (oooer!) - the
ones on the propshaft. Trouble is, it just won't 'click on' to the nipples, so the grease just leaks around the outside.
Have grease nipples changed size over the past 10 years or so? Or am I simply using it the wrong way?

try pressing really hard on the nipple (ooh err) if the grease gun bit is on flexi hose. then push that hard onto the nipple (ooh err again).
once you start pumpoing (ooh err) the force of the grease pull the small clamsp inside the end piece to hold the inner placcy tube onto the nipple
(ooh err).
Works for me.
Use a small pinty thjing to press on the spring loaded ball bearing in the nipple (ooh err) is should give way, if not, it is knackered.

I have had a similar problem (brand new nipples so they're not blocked). I can get the jaws to click onto the nipple but the grease still goes
everywhere but through the nipple. I've ordered a better quality connector off EBAY for a couple of quid and will see if that works
tonight/2mrw.
