Tig question
I've just been reading tig specifications, what is the difference between 2T and 4T and when are they used?

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I find that on 2t as I'm concentrating hard the harder I tend to press the switch. (crazy but true) as a result it can get a bit crampy so i can
relate to the "sore thumb".
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I've worked in engineering as a welder for 30 odd years now and never met a Tig
welder that used their thumb on the button.
That even sounds awkward.

Works for me, but then I can be an awkward cnut sometimes. There's more than one way to skin a cat and all that.

Thats what I thought, I have always used forefinger, holding the torch like a pen. I used to work for Camel of Cornwall, we made the stainless steel
pyramid on the top of Canary Wharf, but they wouldn't tell us what it was until it was installed
