need a generator
hi i would like a generator for the garage
but do not know what one will do. all i need it for is run some stip lights (x4) and
cheap as poss please point mee in the right way....thanks.

Ebays probably your best bet for something like this, people find the cheapest and sell them on for a few quid profit, so you're never far from
rock bottom.
Either that or a wind powered alternator and a few old car batteries!

I use an inverter to power a twin strip light , lasts a few evenings in between charging the battery . Cost about £35.00

wind generator, big 12 battery inverter.
will cost you around £100 and zero running costs. you'll soon use £100 of juice in a genny.
in fact my friend "jenny" charges that an hour

My local B&Q had little 2 stroke gennys for £30 odd last week, not as noisy as you might think
