Small volume 'odd' colour powder coating??

Does anyone know of somewhere that does small item powder coating in odd colours? The only place I know of only does black unless you're prepared to pay for a whole barrel of colour!

If anyone has got the 'electrostatic magic' thing and wants to play, that would be great.... after a silver colour ideally...

Thanks

Chris

You need to find another place.

The one local to me will do all sort of colours. You may have to wait for it to get done in a larger batch of that colour though.

Silver doesn't work very well in powder coat. I had a really bad experience trying to get silver on my wishbones in the end I had to settle for a rather dismal gray. Powder coat works best in strong colours, black or white.

Only want the plug cover for my Red top engine done! When I got it, it was very manky, so I stripped off the old coating - but now it could do with a good finish.... if silver really isn't very good, then am open to suggestions! Cam cover is gloss black powder coat.. car is burgundy.

At least it would make it pretty while I'm trying to get it running!

I think ordinary car paint and a good coating of lacquer is the best thing for this. Powder coat looks very thick and plasticy

that's how I did one of my cars rocker covers and it still looks like brand new

Bauke's mojo chassis was powdercoated in silver mettalic, it's very nice and neat.

I don't now what way the used to do it, but it didn't even cost the earth.

Sorry Caber, I have to disagree.
The bones that I originally got from ARA Racing were powder coated in silver and looked brilliant. Shame that I had to send them back for another reason entirely, because the finish was superb.

Silver powdercoat can fade badly from bright metallic to almost almost flat grey. Seen it happen on a chassis.

Might explain the differing views
