Can anyone link or post instructions for a home made slide hammer of a suitable size for automotive use?

they come in all sorts off sizes...

I use threaded rod and something like a bit off tube to slide up and down.

dont stand behind it as you pull on the slider because if the end slips then you will know about it! OUCH!! Manhood damaged!!
