Cobel MIG welder - anyone heard of them?

I've spotted a mig welder on the bay of E, called a cobel

anyone heard of them? are they crap?

I was thinking it could be one of those american companies that no on has heard of but is quite good

Tried a google search which came up with nothing other than ebay listings which seems a bit dubious

Here is a link

Is it better to just stick with a lower power but more well known brand?

Cheers

Matt

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but its sinking, Racing around to come up behind you again, the sun is the same in a relative way but your older, shorter of breath and one day closer to death

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Matt, I've learned from bitter experience to only buy equipment with a good reputation, fit for professional use and with a national network of service technicians.

I do have a couple of MIG welders for sale and both of which tick all the above boxes.

John

Supplied without a plug, its definitely coming from somewhere that uses goats as the main form of transport.

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Regardless of anything else. It say's in the add that it's power rating is 65A to 119A, which is way to high for welding 1.5 or 1.6 mm steel, fine for battle ship building, Cheers Ray

15% duty cycle on max power says it all for me

EDIT:
Just looked at his other stuff... All looks like Far Eastern imports.
