don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

"is the 'construction sealant' the same a sikaflex/tigerflex etc?"

Don't think so, more likely to be similar to "no nails" "gripfill" etc

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

My local B&Q stocks a whole range of Sika sealants in the trade/builders materials section. Might need to be a Warehouse or big B&Q.

I bought some of those laser levels last year and was not too impressed cos the beam was not very visable.

However some bloke at the autosport show told me they have red couloured glasses which enables you to see the beam in daylight.

He did not have any to hand!

Anyone know about these are they special or will crappy rose coloured sunglasses do the trick?

I believe they are a certain tint to makes specific wavelengths of light more visible.

you could try screwfix or toolstation to see if they do them
