Theres nothing under there to seal
Seriously, chassis is powder coated/painted and floor pan is aluminium.
Underseal is a bugger to work through as well if you ever need to.

not everyone has an ally floor, i have steel, and have undersealed my previous car and will do this one too, i used some lightweight stuff from worth,
worked well, no harm in having that bit of extra protection!

I have a steel floor. Its not seam welded all the way round, so moisture / water can get in between the floor and the chassis rails. That will
eventually cause rust, as the floor was welded in before powder coating. Hence there is almost certainly bare metal between the floor and the chassis.
I have put a coat of underseal all they way around where two bits of metal come together to prevent water getting between the bits of the chassis /
floor.
However, I have not coated the entire floor and chassis rails. Only where they meet up and water can get in.
Also did the lower rails where the central tunnel meets up. This it stop water getting into the cab area. Again, just the joins were sealed.

didn't underseal my westy but did paint the alloy floor etc with smootherite black to protect from roadsalt etc.
i did however underseal the inner arches and underside fibreglass so it reduces the damage from stone chips etc.

I said that and got caught in a spring rain storm which lasted 5 mins but filled the car.
I used Sikaflex on all the joints and weld seams under and in the car then used CBS Wunderseal for the fibreglass arches

I used some rubbery underseal under the front and rear arches. Stops the stones flicked up by the tyres chipping the GRP.
