to run a die grinder or any air powered tools i would go for at least a 100l tank, i have a small 50l 3hp compressor it cant really cope with my
1/2" impact gun, not really enough pressure there. depends how much space and money you got.

Die grinders and cut off saws will make anything grunt, they use a lot of cfm. I have a 3hp 12cfm unit and don't use the die grinder because it
runs the motor all the time. They ice up in this weather as well so now I use a dremel lookalike, it uses less electricity than a compressor.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You want to be looking for one with at least 14 cfm, larger tank the better. Also check the bore size of your air line , small bore/longer pipes will
restrict air flow. I make it a point to use 10mm airline
