Looking for a supplier - control cables

Happy Friday!

Does anyone know of a decent supplier for cable parts (such as clutch, throttle cable etc.).

I'm after puting together a replacement for my handbrake cable and want to find a place to get cable cover, teflon tube, cable adjusters etc. I've looked at Zoom Karts, but the stuff they have just isn;t heavy duty enough to work long term as a h/brake cable.

Cheers

Steve

Speedy cables treated me well for a custom made handbrake cable for my Cobra:

speedycables quoted me around £35-45 for each cable for my handbrake, which i think is a lot, but its looking like i might have to go that route

Ask them about reusing parts of your existing/ or if they could re-build it. It can be cheaper.

I've got a universal m/cycle cable kit but I reckon it'll stretch and/or snap in no time at all.

I'm really only looking for a supplier of the fittings (such as cable cover and adjusters).

I got a heavy duty clutch cable from Mac#1 a while ago - does anyone know where they get their parts from?

Try cable-tec I don't know if they do parts but might be worth a try.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Inners and outers by the metre, plus the bits and bobs to finish them.

For Speedy cables read rip off merchants, Clutch cable from Westfield £10.40, Clutch cable from Speedy cables £35.
Best bit is Speedy cables make the cables for Westfield.
Cheers,
Bob
