Tube mitering Program Free NSFW
i found this tube miter program its free
Tubemiter-Link
download and run its only small
go to file and settings
put in the diameter of both tubes the wall thickness and the angle that you want
and BAMM its done just print it off, cut out, wrap around your tube and draw the lines out

it tells you on the website which line:
"There are two curves - the dotted one is the template you would cut if the wall thickness were zero (similar to the HyperCard
program's output) and the solid curve is the template corresponding to the requested wall thickness."

That is useful, but is there something similar that gives you a shape for to join to a flat surface? I had no end of trouble making a plinth out of
ali sheet for my round fog light to butt up nicely to my back panel and leave the light vertical. In the end, I did it by trial and error, making
freehand templates out of card first, but I still had to put some beading on to cover up the little gaps.

Have a look at my program at http://www.cyclecrazy.me.uk/
It doesn't print a paper pattern (output is DXF, so you'll need some sort of CAD-handling program to make a paper copy), but it does do a
tube-to-flat plate template.
