Using Inverter TIG for ARC which is anode?
I'm having a blonde moment....
When using an inverter TIG for ARC welding, you reverse the +ve and -ve don't you?
Or am I going mad?
It been a while since I used my TIG for ARC and I just can't remember

Yes you reverse for Arc, with DC one side errodes far faster so for TIG you errod the work, for Arc you errode the rod.

Cheers, thought so but wanted to be 100% sure before I blew a hole in an amazingly thin kart chassis.

Hate to blow my own trumpet, but I just did a stunning job on that, better than the guy/robot who built the chassis in the first place.
Sorted, thanks Mark.
