NON-Rental Gas Suppliers
I'm after a bottle of Argon Shield Gas, but i just want to buy the bottle outright and not have to rent it, does anyone know of any suppliers in
the midlands region that can supply me with one?

Got mine from adamgas, i think i paid around 92ish for the bottle, then it is about 60 a re-fill.
I have had the bottle now for about a year... be another year until i re-fill it, and no monthly charges.
Unsure once you have the bottle there is any other means to get it re-filled.

I recently bought a bottle of argon from Adam Gas - £38 + VAT for the gas, and a £40 returnable deposit on the bottle.
Odd place - a little yard in the middle of a few houses, with a small shop full of festive balloon supplies! Don't go there looking for welding
supplies (welding rods, MIG wire, etc) though...
One teeny down-side - their bottles have side-entry valves so you'll need a 90-degree adaptor if you have a regulator that normally would screw
into the top of a bottle. Just a minor problem though.
