Sealing aluminium drysump oil tank
We're having problems with oil leaking from the drysump aluminium oil tank, looks like it's coming from the welds in one or 2
positions.
We've tried some sealant on the outside but that's not made any difference.
all suggestions welcomed!

it's the seams that are causing the problem, and we won't be able to get it re welded untill after the next 2 meetings, so we're
looking for a more temp fix really

Liquid metal.
Or whatever it is called.
Like toothpaste but turns into metal.
Remember to clean it with brakecleaner or so.

lumiweld would be quite good as it would flow into the gap ... you would need to cean the joins thoroughly.l

Yes- good option  Clean out the welds, scrub the outside with the stainless steel brush then wallop on some lumiweld / technoweld. Should work very
nicely indeed!!!
