Garage shelves...

Hi All,

We tend to move about a bit (once every 2 years or so) so I want to buy some free standing garage shelving that is easy to move around..

Any ideas? The best so far seems to be:

linky

Cheap but not so sure on quality..

These shelving units will allow me to reconfigure depending on space i.e set up for bench or shelving; making space for the up and over door etc...

Dan

they are alright I had them - bit on the narrow side and turn to fall apart when you lift them up so need fixing securely

they do take plenty of weight though and not bad prices - I got mine off ebay saved a bit from machine mart prices

Those were exactly the ones I was about to suggest, wwe've got very similar ones (albeit twenty years older) they hold a decent weight but are easy to pull apart and move if the need occurs.

Cheap prices and not bad quality either.

I'd second Big Dug!

Have a look at their bargains - sometimes they do just the racking / shelving and you can make the shelf top yourself out of timber.

I much prefer the 300kg Clarke ones over the 150kg ones (got both) similar design but a lot sturdier.

Though they seem to have been upgraded to 350kg now.

Those big dug ones look better value though!

I acquired a load of Speedframe very cheaply about 15-20 years ago when the company I worked for was closed down. It's excellent for custom racking but I think it's quite expensive to buy new.
