Chromed Exhaust Manifolds
How well does chrome stand up if used on extremely hot components (i.e. Exhaust prmaries)?
Cheers!

Dunno but mine has the ceramic metal coloured coating on it and is very good - not chrome but looks like a shiny(ish) metal. Very good I reckon.

Chrome will Blue with heat, some like the look.
You could ceramic coat the inside to help stop it but even stainless suffers especially if you over fuel.

Did you get this done, or was this off the shelf? Im interested once i get my manifold made, as its supposed to increase gas flow if ceramic coated
inside.

going back to the good old days of chromed micron/allspeeds on you F1SE or RD, the chrome discoloured and lead to pitted rust

Nickel plated Scootz.
That way, when the head discolours it, all will go all sorts of colours.
In a good way.

Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
