MIG welder purchase
Can anyone recommend a machine for around £250 ? Need to build chassis for a Locost and repair bodywork on my kids cars.

I like Clarke Migs and a new 135te is around that price, personally however I think I'd look for a second hand 150/151te which would probably
leave enough spare in your budget for gas/spares/booze etc.

I got my Clarke 151te for less than £250 and its a great bit of kit
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I asked the same question on the mig welding forum a few days ago and was recommended the Clarke 160TM. Its a bit more than I wanted to shell out but
I've bit the bullet and ordered one this morning. The cheapest I found it was

I just went online to check you where looking at the right welder.
I bought mine about 5 or 7 years ago for 179 tax free!!!!!
