I have the same kind, also running on a smallish compressor. I bought one to cut out a hard-to-get-to suspension bolt on my daihatsu and it worked great. Generally v useful on all kinds of stuff

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

I have one of these http://www.machinemart.co.uk/images/library/range/large/0054.jpg and a small 8cfm compressor. It gets used a lot!! Probably one of the best air tools I've bought!

I had one the same as in the first link; the blade motion is very short, virtualy just a vibration. I found it brilliant for cutting tubing as it didn't cause the blade to snag on the edges of thin material. It was pretty useless for cutting anything of reasonable thickness however, you could do it by hand much faster. Unfortunately it stopped working due to some phenomenally poor build quality, and was bin fodder afterwards.

Then I bought one like owelly has; it has a much longer stroke and therefore copes with thicker material better (but it's still slow) but isn't as good on thin tubing. It's a much more robust tool though.

I needed to cut through a completely seized suspension bolt on my Striker when my first air saw fell to bits and I bought the second one (owelly type) which went through an M12 bolt in a reasonable length of time. I reckon the first one would have taken a very long time to get through it, had it not self destructed.

Don't discount a dremel if you have one, it saved my bacon cutting a seized exhaust flange bolt off my MR2 with extremely restricted access - I had to force my arm into the space and blindly cut the head off the bolt! Slow progress for sure, but got the job done.

I bought an electric dewalt demolition saw. One of the best things i have ever bought. Cuts Bolts tubes bars cars anything.

cut up 2 mx5's into smallish pieces and hauled them to the scrappy in my pickup all in an afternoon.
