Right, Who's moved my tapping wrench?

<<Rant Mode On>>

Sure I saw it a few hours ago but can I find the bloody thing now, so come on own up, who moved it???

Just know as soon as I order another one it'll turn up, problem is that I could do with one sharpish.

<<Rant Mode Off>>

Cheers

Rich

What you all need is one healthy garage fire, like i had in July this year

As EVERYTHING in the garage has been removed, cleaned or destroyed,
My garage is so empty (of clutter) i think i could actually go out there with my eyes closed and find anything i need

But of coarse a fire is a tad destructive, and emotionly very upsetting !!

Give up on the job where you need it, spend 2 hrs setting up something different to do, and the tap wrench will suddenly just be there on the bench in front of you!

A couple of years ago I did what I should have done a decade back - put up a great big board, painted it white, hammered some nails in to hold the tools & drew round each tool with a black felt-tip pen. Then I got into the habit of putting back everything I use as soon as I've finished with it.

I still lose everything that doesn't have a place on that board though...

Good Call!

Spent ages looking for a particular screwdriver before (had another that would do the job, but that wasn't the point) only to be asked by SWMBO why I'd left a screwdriver sat on the cistern in the downstairs lav and why there were oliy finger marks on the light switch

Trouble is I'd lose the board.

It'll turn up somewhere

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
