don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I have pointed him at this thread. The striker is alive and well but has been through a few engines and has a new paint job since you sold it...
Here is a pic from the top of a pass in Spain a couple of years ago..

Sorry, the quality's not good.. scanned from prints.
Elvington July 07... I think..
And, I think it's the same car at the coast to coast run, same year. Back row, next to my green Westy.
..and parked up in Robin Hoods bay.

Wow its great to see those pictures....
...its older than 2007 tho, the picture is from Elvington and it was my first ever trackday, the car performed perfectly all day only let down by its
driving! I learnt loads and had a fab day.
The coast to coast run later the same year was probably the best day out I had in the Striker (I had lots), surrounded by westfields, it held its own.
The last shot was at Robin hoods bay just before we set off home for the day, I got in a race with a guy called Kevin in his early westfield R1, at
one point we where over taking bikers !!!!
Do you have any more photos ?
Thanks for all the help guys, wish I'd never sold it !!!!!!!!!

I like the new body work but not sure on the colour...
..think I prefer the green?!
It was bright yellow when I first got it but my brother-in-law put it in a ditch so it gave me the excuss for a respray, he never got another go!!!

You're right, I don't know where 07 came from, it was July 2003. (Elv) The only other pic featuring your green car is this one (Far
background). Do you remember the orange twin bike engined Westy? don't think it ran right all day..
It was, I think my second ever trackday, and my son's first. Pic below was taken on the first lap out. He spun up by the big 180deg loop in the
same lap! He's now progressed to become the Northern Sports & Saloons championship class D winner this year. That's ma boy!
,,and the Kevin you chased home was probably Kevin Stabler, were you heading in the direction of Hull...
Pic of his car at a later Elvington t/day:
..Found another.

Yeh 2003 sounds more like it...
I remember the twin engined car with strips of black tape all over it, never ran much all day.
It was indeed Kev Stabler, he did live just a few miles away from me in Patrington but he has now moved to North Scotland, we often went for the odd
drive out together, he was due on the coast to coast run aswell but had engine trouble last minute. At the time of the track day, he was running the
local westfield group.
I also knew the guy who owned the yellow car in the last picture, westfield V8, but can't remember his name.
I have some pictures on a disc somewhere, may be of your car but I don't know how to put them on here, I'm pretty crap on computer and
don't have a clue with forums !!!!???
Brings back the good times!

The yellow car was a V8 belonging to Jon Murray, later sold to Buzz Billsberry, who still owns it and it's now blue...

Did this Striker used to be owned by a guy in Shropshire in about 2002/2003 (Simon rings a bell)? It was yellow back then. If so this was my first
passenger ride in a BEC up Loton hillclimb on a public open day

Yes I believe his name was Simon, I defently bought it from a guy in Shropshire and he did use it at Loton Hillclimb.
Simon did the conversion from X-flow to ZX9 and back then one of the first BEC's around. In bright yellow and in need of some TLC, mainly
finishing bits, I was happy to hand over the cash!
My first ride in a BEC was in Z-cars twin engined Tiger, the one that Tiff broke on top gear, I was blown away and bought the Striker 3-4 weeks later
