iPhone native?
I use a few apps on my iPhone to view other forums. They are tapatalk and IPB, they simply make the forum easy to navigate on an iPhone. The app
claims to be easy for forum administrators to add the ability to the forum for the app to work with it.
I have no idea if this is true as I haven't run a forum for years and I didn't find anything easy when I did. My request is, if possible
please could The Boss see if it would be possible to make the forum iPhone native?

What is the forum based on? PHPBB or what? Usually you can just install an iphone friendly theme and redirect all mobile safari client headers to use
that theme.

That was before the forum 'changed' after the update and stopped being easy to navigate on an iPhone.
Now you have to zoom then scroll left to right to read a post

What's the problem with iPhones? I sometimes access this site using my Android phone, and post replies occasionally, and have no particular
difficulties.
(not a flame, just an enquiry)

can view this forum on ip4 with ease but its a gr8 app tapatalk and ive got several forums i monitor on there was shocked this its on there !!!

It works OK. It just doesn't resize anymore to fit the screen like it used to. So it makes reading and replying to posts more difficult, more
scrolling left to right, searching the screen for buttons! Tapatalk presents the forum in a completely different layout which makes it really easy to
navigate on an iphone.

Can the MODs please make this forum tapatalk/touchBB compatible. I access other forums Dax sporting club, detailers world etc without a problem on my
iPhone and would really like this one to be accessible too!

I would love this too. I personally think the best iPhone friendly layout is the mobile pistonheads site. However would quite happily make do with
tapatalk!

I think instead of making it work with an app there is alot more value in having a mobile version using css and jQuery mobile then you could have a
version which would work on any tablet or mobile and be fingar friendly without the reliance on a third party app which may die when the iPhone dies
off
I would offer but although I do jQuery and some css I have no idea when it comes to PHp as im as asp.net dev
