Home made tools... my tube bender
How satisfying it it when you save a shed load of money by constructing a tool that you could have bought?
Here's a tube bender I knocked up this afternoon from £5 of MDF and some bits of metal and bolts i had laying around in the garage.
Used to make my anti-roll bar

Does it make a neat bend in the tube (no distorting)?
I may have to plagarise that heavily for my next build

It does indeed, on 5/8 16swg CDS tube anyway. No visible distortion at all Its on a 75mm radius but could probably go tighter without a problem.
