where to get a smal piece of alloy machined
I seem to remember reading on here that there was a website where one could post a request about getting a piece of metal machined and the members.,
mostly retired with lathes and mils would bid or negotiate for the work.
Or did I dream this up?
I am looking to get approx 5 adapters for a bike shock made up.

i can do lathe work and ali welding at reasonable cost but im sure there is someone closer.
Anything With Tits or Wheels Will cost you MONEY!!

It is the piece on the right; needs lathe to make the cone and milling for the slot.
I did approach FM but not heard - I guess he is busy finisig off is HD chopper.

havent got the capability to do milling yet although im planning for it in the next 6months or so
