where to get a smal piece of alloy machined

I seem to remember reading on here that there was a website where one could post a request about getting a piece of metal machined and the members., mostly retired with lathes and mils would bid or negotiate for the work.

Or did I dream this up?

I am looking to get approx 5 adapters for a bike shock made up.
