It takes time, hard work and a job where you can get away with being on the internet a large proportion of the time to be this good - Joelp and Gusty spend their entire time on here as far as I can tell.

i am the unfortunate victim of a new 9 to life job, hence long browse all evening and a quick catchup in the morning. But, i would be the first to admit i have a problem with the internet - i cant get enough of it! But i survive when i go on holiday so it cant be so bad...

BTW, i hold the record for most crap spouted fastest, over 3k in a year!

If I had 6 weeks (assuming you go to a state school) off I be building my car full-time!
You could get it practically finished in that time!

8 weeks off actually, and the welder has stopped working.

I would be out the garage full time if it hadn't gone bust. I've got everything cut and part of the rear suspension tacked but I can't go any further.

Well get it fixed quick!

Unlucky on the welder- you can garantee something like that will happen if you have time off. The amount of times I've used up leave to work on the Locost and then I've wasted the time having to suddenly fix something on my Golf!

Could you hire one for a few days- if you're tacked you could fully weld up in no time. If you don't wanna hire then get your wishbones made but not welded- just remember the 22mm castor.

Other than that- get your donor bits rebuilt!

All far simpler said than done!

Atb,

James

I've got the wishbones and uprights (I cheated and bought them fron Stuart Taylor), I know everything else is easy, my dads going to have a look at fixing it tonight (or tomorrow, or the day after).
