Cheap pillar drill
My local B&Q has these pillar drills...

...marked up as "powertools" for only 20 quid. This is the Newbury branch BTW.
Hope that this is of use to someone. They're pretty old fashioned (new ones have laser sights) and quite low powered but seem to work very
well.
Regards,
Mark

Looks similar (if not the same) as the B&Q one I bought recently for about £30.
Has been working great (it's 350w) up until recently when the chuck seized so I now can't tighten it to fit the drill bits in. Once I get
round to dismantling it and boxing it it's going back for a replacement model!
Cheers,
James

Exactly the same as mine, now 6 years old, had a fistfull of abuse and as good as the day I got it
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
