borescope on an android?

How can I get a eBay USB borescope to display on an android tablet? It would be much more convenient than using a laptop but does a tablet have enough power in a mini USB to operate the borescope and are there any generic drivers available that would suit?
Cheers

The tablet needs to have usb host cababilities for a start. Not all of them do though

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

OK I downloaded a USB Host diagnostics app which confirmed that my version of Nexus 7 has host capabilities and detected a camera when I plugged it in via an OTG adapter.
So where do i go now?

Cheers!

You need the software to capture the image, if it didn't come with the camera, do a interweb search for Amcap.

Thanks but that software does not work with android. Is there a trick to using it?

Thanks. I had noticed these on ebay but they are wifi connected rather than usb connected and require an extra battery to power it.

Usually battery powered devices suffer from leaking batteries if not used regularly and the blessed things wont work when you finally really need them hence my aversion to them.

The usb endoscopes are so light and cheap you think it would be worth someones time to develop an app for them.

Cheers!

You could try this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=infinitegra.trial.usbcamera
Seems hit or miss whether it works or not.
