Name this fastener
I'm trying to find a type of fastener, but for the life of me I cannot think of the name of it.
Its basically like a cross between a split pin and a rivet. i.e. it has a round, flat head, you push it through what you want to fasten together and
then you open out the two flat pins to hold it in place (like a split pin).
They are for my MG TC restoration where I need to fix a couple of leather pads to some u-shaped metal check straps.

What a great forum, 6 minutes to get an answer. Thanks.
I guess that I should just have used my own description as a search though given that it's actually called a split rivet.
