Just had my turbo in/ex flanges cut by
http://www.sciss.co.uk/
from 10mm stainless steel. Used a bit of thin card pressed against holes, and this is the result:
We use them a lot for work too!!

Simon, could you give a rough price for a one off job such as a manifold flange?

Mike,
When my father gets the bill (I included it in quite a bit of stuff he was having cut!), I'll check to see if they split it out. If so,
I'll let you know.

for stainless etc surely lasering is much cheaper than waterjet, or have prices changed a lot in the last couple of years?
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

Thought lasering stainless was difficult as it is too shiny?

see where you're coming from Mike but there were piles and piles of lasered bright stainless at NSI when I was there yesterday!
Bit I liked best were the deep drawn stainless vessels that they were laser cutting ports into the walls of on their 5 axis laser, beauty of a
machine!
