DIY brake system pressure bleeder

In the true spirit of Locost (and if you baulk at the idea of forking out about £20.00 for one), here is a link to a home-made pressure bleeder for brake systems:

Brake Bleeder

I think you could buy a proper one off fleabay for less than it would cost to make one of those and it would be better/fit more cars etc

eg

I did it, but just used an old Schreder valve from and old wheel and kept the comprsser down to aboslute min, about 4lbs .
Connect to your comp and Bobs your uncle.

Or you colud use a car spare wheel as a resivoir, and once again keep the pressure low.

Even lowercost

I've had some plans for one of those in my favourites for ages and I still use the rubber split tube and a jamjar method to bleed them on my own

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
