Portable oxy-acetylene refill needed
I have managed to acquire a small & portable oxy-acetylene welding set and need to get the bottles refilled. I live in London and am very
reluctant to pay an annual charge for rental etc. Any ideas how I can get this sorted?
Cheers

You need a friendly engineering company that uses your size and make of bottle.
Scrap yard might be worth a look.

Take out a monthly agreement and swap your spare bottles, then cancel it or try a hire firm as they sometimes carry them. The local BOC agent swaps
mine as long as I don't go too often, he charges me £50 a pair and as I only use them for releasing stuff and occasional welding they last ages.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
