Compression tester
Just a quickie, does anyone near Daventry/Banbury have access to a compression tester and adaptor to suit a Honda blackbird? Starting to investigate a
noise/rattle and wish to check the compression since it's getting on a bit for now. The local garage won't led me one, and I don't
know of anywhere I can hire for for an hour or two.

Si,
You can borrow mine (Gunson's) I'll need to check if it fits though first, luckily as you know I just happen to have a Blackbird engine
kicking around to try it on
Give me a ring, if you haven't got my mobile still then email me.

Actually, I may need some engine bits off you now instead! After trying all afternoon to start the bugger, I decided to take it out. Started pulling
all the wires off and found out that the pulse generator wasn't actually attached! What a numpty moment! At least I know the cam chain is
loose/needs a new tensioner. Better than a full rebuild. Hopefully.
