Silverline Tools
Got a catalogue through at work the other day and they're very reasonably priced. OK, most/all
of the stuff in Chinese made but what ain't these days?
They do a very nice air-powered micro-grinder which I might have a punt at to replace my B&D Dremel copy.
MICRO GRINDER KIT
Micro grinder kit with 10 grinder heads. Built in speed regulator for precise work. Kit is complete with a 1.5 metre air hose complete with a
protective sleeve. Working pressure 85-115PSI. Average air consumption 2CFM.
CODE DESCRIPTION PACK PRICE
633630 MICRO GRINDER KIT (GRINDER KIT) 1 £27.27
It's on this page about half-way down.

I think they are part of Teng Tools. We use them at college, all pretty good stuff.

I have some Silverline spanners from the local spares shop, they are excellent finish and have a lifetime guarantee. My other spanners are Britool and
Kamasa and the only thing I've broken is a 1/2" Kamasa ratchet through my own abuse. Rotary air tools tend to use a lot of air and in this
weather will ice up if your air supply is dirty. Also the compressor uses a lot more juice than a small grinder to achieve the same result.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Just got a Silverline 'professional' tap & die set. I've yet to use it in anger but it looks decent quality and comes in a nice
metal case.
