Which kit for Granada ?
Hi,
A guy at local Ford dealer has a rusty Granada and asked me if there's any kit available for this car. Or maybe any Sierra will do with only
minor adaptations ?
Thx,
Michal

my mk indi is mostly based on the parts used on granada's. I think the drive shafts, column were sierra but the other bits are granada.

Most of the parts you'll need for any kit are the same as the sierra ones
but the front hubs and steering cloumns are different from sierra's
and the driveshafts maybe slightly longer (this isn't a problem for some sierra based kits)

just use the hubs front & rear, I have - their 5 stud and have bigger calipers on the front.

Luego Viento takes all but the front hubs which are sierra.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

well they fill a ford 14" alloy anyway
but they'll look a bit smaller in my 16's
but getting back to the original question:
there are lots of kits that will fit Granada bits (I think there is list of kits by donor on totalkitcar.com)
and if you don't like them you can use the Granada parts with a sierra based kit (as they are mostly the same as the higher spec sierra's)
the main sticking points will be the steering column and rack (if applicable) and the front hubs - and for these you can adapt or get some sierra ones
