Barnett clutch on R1

What spring combinations have people gone for with the Barnett clutch?
Fluke say don't use the long springs 'cos they'll bottom out but Barnett say don't use just the short springs use either a combination or all long.
I emailed Fluke & they said they'd used Holeshot springs & to experiment with different combinations.
So just wondered what the general concencus was.
