You should be able to do this yourself with a bending beam.
You will find pictures of mine in my archive. Really easy to make and will bend one inch steel tube without kinking so aluminium will be a doddle.

Ali is like copper when being bent, needs to be fully supported, Steel dosent becuase it has a much thicker wall and different properties.
If only it was that simple Id have done it! If I bent it as you suggest, it would kink!
Thanks for the reply though!

A 22mm plumbers bending spring should give you enough support.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

oh yeah, sorry, i got one for my 25mm steel tube, remembering it was a nice snug fit inside the tune, but forgetting of the tube wall thickness, and
that the id will be smaller that 25mm...

Hi Ian
It really is that simple. You are quite right, tube as opposed to pipe does need support all round otherwise, it will kink. The beauty of the bending
beam is that it really does give support all round and you can bend with an infinite number of radii.
Unfortunately, I do not have any 25mm round tube in stock but I do have a short length of square 1.5mm wall and I have just bent this very easily. I
hope the attached picture will show it. I cannot post multiple pictures but I'll put a few more in my archive.
I hope you manage it alright.
