Rehmann Tig

I've been watching those Rehmann tig AC/DC machines for a while. At the start, they showed them as having HF start.

Now, the litrature on screen does not show the hf start.

Does anyone heer have one of these machines, and is it hf start? Or have they changed the spec lately? Maybe becauze of lower selling prices.

Cheers,
Nev.

Edited to show I'm looking at the ac/dc items. The dc 160 and 200 both show hf ignition, but not the ac/dc 200.

The welding appliance has a high-frequency ignition
(HF ignition) with an adjustable gas post-flow time of
1-10 seconds.

From the one on at the min.

Want one of these my self.

If you read the wording, it says something about increasing the current and voltage for the stick welding hot starts.

But nowhere does it say anything about HF start on the ac/dc tig sets now.

I've emailed them twice, and get no replies asking about the hf . IS it there or not? They will not say.

Cheers,
Nev.

HF Start

Hi Nev,

If you have asked them twice and not recieved an answer. Then they probably do not have the HF start function.

If not, I find that rather strange on an AC/DC inverter.

Perhaps the maufacturers have a web site.

It "should" have hf if its an ac machine, as the current will drop to 0 as the ac goes past 0 volts and the arc will go out.

The HF spark keeps the arc going when the ac passes though 0 volts.
