Hi,

I asked that on the mig welding - the answer was NO, blade is too fast and think they also said it wasn't powerful enough.

Its just for wood

I just got an Aldi email with the 125mm 1050w Angry grinder, I got one a year ago and it is well good for brutal chopping and grinding, so good i will get another to replace my old Black and Decker pro that i smoked a while back. They also have 1mm stainles steel cutting disks at £3.9 a pack in both 125 and 115 sizes again brilliant for the price, better than the ebay ones i was buying. Also gell knee pads useful for grovelling to SWMBO for buying all the new boys toys

Hi Coozer,
the bandsaw is cack picked one up for work as we thought with a thin blade it might be handy for cutting very tight curves in bits of wood (we have a couple of others) but on this occasion it seems to be built down to the price - doesn't even cut wood straight and wanders quite dramatically.
If we ever get a slack day I'm sure we could make it slightly better with a bit of tinkering but if it was my ownmoney I'd be saving for a better quality machine.

Ps I still have a reverse switch in rear passenger side door pocket which has travelled around for the last 18 months on its way in your direction,
