Jammy git me! - New toy

Do I have the colloquialism right?

Mate of mine had to replace a brand new bandsaw that was knocked over and damaged in his factory. He said I could have the use of the damaged one on indefinite loan if I repaired it.

The section of the body casting that the table attachment bracket bolts to was torn and twisted. I stripped the machine, had the casting welded up and had the complete front face remachined to true it up. I then just had to replace the table attachment bracket (which he supplied) and rebuild it. I added a lamp I had lying in a box in the garage.

So how I have a proper band saw. Certainly a step up from using a jig saw for everything, I think I have worn out two cheapies so far.

Cheers

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.

A very appropriate colloquialism In my opinion

"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

Yea, they are to toss the offcuts into, and fitted very nicely inside the stand. They are a bit expensive but
