OOPS!

well blow me.... my car is sitting there now finished and ready for SVA and I've gone and done it!

I've bought a lathe! A whopping Harrison L5 thats spent its live in a school. Woohoo

Now then, 3" or 4" scale Fowler??

You lucky bugger, it'll have done nowt! How big is that then?
My old Mitchell has seen a bit work but it does what I need, it's mabye 13" swing with the gap out & 5' betwen centres. Good job the workshop is a decent size.

Congatulations!
- Ive restrained so far, but use of a decent lathe is so very usfull. I have to drive over to a family freinds house occationally for that very reason.

Ive also started visting on more random vists for cups of tea and the like. He's a really decent bloke, university freind of my grandad. But he's well into retairment age and doesnt have a son of his own. At the end of the day lathes has to go somewhere...
