star pattern bolt head

My driveshafts are attached to the diff using a star shaped head.

Can you get a star shaped socket for it? if so where from because ive tryed with a normal socket but it starts to slip and im worried about ruining the bolt head completly.

Cheers

You mean Torx drive i think (there are male and female versions). Halfords sell decent sets.

The Torx heads will probably mash when you try and get them out - if neccessary gtind off the heads and then replace with allen bolts.
