Adamsgas

Hiya all,

Has any of you guys used adamsgas for their welding gas? I am seriously looking at the pure argon £74 10tlr bottle. Was wondering if anyone could give me an idea how long this would last?

oh and it's for tig welding.

The guy at adams told me that there is less than 10 disposables in one of their bottles and with the delivery charges and the one off charge for the bottle it worked out too dear. I would think you will only get 1.5 hours welding out of a adams bottle. I ended up finding a company to fill a pub bottle with argon but even that works out dear in comparison to the BOC charges. Infact BOC is really cheap for gas when you consider the amount of gas in those bottles, its just the rental charge that would do my head in.
