Corner Weight Scales
I'm trying to set up my Locost and would like to beg/borrow (but not steal ) a kit/system to allow me to corner weight it.
Does anybody have a suitable set-up I could use? I'm in Lincolnshire but I'm willing to travel to collect/deliver, and leave a suitable
deposit.
Cheers in advance
Mike

You certainly can, I used to use two bathroom scales with a board across to weigh engines etc. Just add the two readings.
Naturally you would want to use analogue rather than digital scales, as the digitals are inclined to reset to zero if they auto switchoff with a
weight on them

Is Cambridge too far to travel ? I have a Pace lever type gauge you could borrow but due to having lost so many loaned out tools a deposit would be
required .

Rusty
Thanks for the offer. I pass Cambridge regularly and I'll drop you a U2U to confirm before I pass next.
Mat
Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I'm not doing Silverstone, but no doubt I'll catch up later in the year.
